It's always exciting when my clients let me pick their elopement location. That's what Kailee and Seth did in August of 2020. This time, I chose a beach elopement on the Oregon Coast. For their elopement, I took Kailee and Seth to a secluded cove appropriately named Secret Beach near Brookings, Oregon, the state's southernmost coastal city. This section of Oregon's coastline has a wild, rugged vibe that's popular among outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. With mountainous terrain and thick forests filled with Sitka Spruce and old-growth Redwoods trees, it's no wonder nature lovers from all over the world visit this area. After getting acquainted with Kailee and Seth on our consultation call, I knew this was the perfect place for their elopement.

Kailee and Seth exchanged vows in the late afternoon on a gorgeous sunny day. I led them into the lush green forest, where their ceremony took place. A few steps in, I found an opening in the trees that let the sun shine down upon them. The deep rhythmic soundtrack of the ocean played in the distance as Kailee and Seth said, "I do." It was a genuine moment filled with love, laughter, and tears.

We basked in post-wedding happiness and soaked up the mystery and wonder of the forest before heading to the shoreline. The sweeping cliffs and dramatic rocks provided an ideal backdrop for romantic sunset photos. Next, we went to Kailee and Seth's Airbnb for a delectable seaside dinner on their oceanfront deck. The sun disappeared into the horizon, and we returned to the beach, where the newlyweds had fun posing for more photos and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife.
